Ars Subterranea: The Society for Creative Preservation

April 15, 2007

Bronx, New York

Favor us with your presence at the "House of the Marble Mistress", a historic building that has been abandoned for decades. This architectural gem is undergoing a transition and we're there to celebrate the rubble while it lasts. It's a unique chance to experience a landmark ruin before the lights come back on.

Reservations for this two-hour, participatory event will be accepted at events @ creativepreservation.org for a maximum of 50 guests.

Update: This event is filled up -- please email us if you'd like to get on the waiting list.

Update 2: Gothamist has a video of the location - the Bronx Borough Courthouse - and the after-celebration of the event, which included the Krinkl-O-Tron by Leif Krinkle.
